The training has been held in the Vilnius district Paberžė “Verdenė” Gymnasium. The participating group consisted of 12 participants from the Gymnasium. Because of the good weather conditions, the participants were working in the Gymnasium outdoor classroom, which is surrounded by nature and fresh air. The main idea of the training was to cover the most important environmental issues and to invite the participants to discuss climate change issues and how it impacts our daily life. Carbon conversations group course topics were divided into the following topics: responsibility for climate change, planning for change, food and water, consumption and waste, travel and transport and ecological house. The participants showed initiative during the course and shared their own ideas as well as their personal experiences related to ecological topics. In the gaps between the course tasks, the facilitator was leading energizers and teambuilding games. This part of the course was important in order to get to know each other and also to maintain participants concentration during the course.
